I am honored to introduce to you the French School Manila, a section of the European International School based in  Metro-Manila.

The French School Manila was created in 1972 by a group of parents through the support of French enterprises located in Manila and the Embassy of France in the Philippines. Belonging to a network of Agencies for French Education Abroad (AEFE) and re-united in 1992 with the German European School Manila (GESM) to form the European International School (EIS), sharing a common campus.

Away from the pollution of downtown Manila, situated in an exceptionally verdant location, EIS-Manila represents a method of education and curricula that are all deeply rooted in European values.

The French School Manila is strongly supported by AEFE in its innovative educational projects designed to answer the needs of expatriate families:  French/English bilingual schooling coupled with the study of other languages such as Spanish, German, and Mandarin all make for relevant education in the third millennium.

In addition,  the French School Manila offers a French/English curriculum in pre-school, Euro-classes at the elementary level, a European section in high school, and a special guidance program for students whose mother tongue is not French.

More than 290 students of various nationalities and ages (all ranging from 2 to 18 years old)   are currently enrolled at EFM in a multi-cultural environment, attending classes that are organized in conformity with the standards imposed by the French Department of Education with regards to curricula and schedules.  It aims to prepare the students to successfully pass the baccalaureate exam and subsequently enroll in a renowned university, whether in France or any other country in the world.

The French School Manila is deeply aware of the importance to educate citizens of the world for tomorrow. Its faculty only recently launched a major campaign for sustainable development, thus projecting the school as an eco-friendly establishment, encouraging the students to become more attentive to the Philippines ecological environment.
